Tevi Troy is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and at the Homeland Security Policy Institute. He was Deputy Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services from 2007 to 2009, and before that directed the White House Domestic Policy Council under President George W. Bush.
Mr. Troy is the author of the book Intellectuals and the American Presidency: Philosophers, Jesters, or Technicians? (Rowman & Littlefield, 2002). His website is TeviTroy.org.
