Adam Wolfson is director of research at the National Endowment for the Humanities. From 2005 to 2006, he was a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center and a consulting editor of Commentary magazine. Before that, he was the final editor of The Public Interest.
His essays and reviews have appeared in the American Scholar, Commentary, National Review, The New Atlantis, The Public Interest, Policy Review, the Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard, and elsewhere. He is co-editor with Joao Carlos Espada and Marc F. Plattner of The Liberal Tradition in Focus. A former consultant to the President’s Council on Bioethics, he has also served as a lecturer in political science at DePaul University, the University of Chicago, and Johns Hopkins University School of Arts and Science Advanced Academic Programs.
